Same name with a new look and a new location, the Miami International Boat Show has moved to the newly-renovated Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin located on Virgina Key in South Miami. This new venue boasts more display space both on land and in water, plus opportunities for sea trials from the marina and over a half dozen different options for dining and libations. Blue Water Desalination will be displaying our fill line of cutting-edge watermakers and accessories in Tent H at Booth 107 so be sure to stop by and check out our newest models and chat with the team during the show, which runs from Thursday, February 11th through Monday, February 15th.

Blue Water Desalination recently supplied a Legend LX watermaker for installation aboard the NOAA research vessel Gordon Gunter. The Legend LX is a fully automatic reverse osmosis desalination system and has a capacity of 3,200 Gallons per day. BWD’s engineers modified the standard LX to meet some unique requirements of the NOAA ship. These included the addition of a Pulsation Dampener to the high pressure pump and a membrane cleaning loop and tank.
