Blue Water Desalination (BWD) disrupted the marine industry with their cutting-edge entries into the yacht-grade reverse osmosis watermaker market. Over the past decade, their innovations and product advancements have continued while expanding their global reach. In part of celebrating this milestone, the company is hosting a 10th Anniversary Party during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS).

Similar to their Legendary Cocktail Parties hosted at FLIBS in years past, this celebration will include ever-popular libations from Goslings Rum. Our media partners, dealers, and customers are invited to the exclusive event located in the Equipment Tent, space 468, on Thursday, October 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

The Blue Water Desalination team revealed our latest innovation in water purification during the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The all-new Explorer XT is a robust, expandable system designed to fit almost any available space. With capacities from 475 to 1,800 GPD, the Explorer XT is a welcome new standard for mid-sized to large yachts.

Boasting fully automatic operation, the new Explorer XT is offered in multiple configurations to fit the needs of most yachtsmen and the space of nearly any boat. The flexible footprint combined with an impressive production capability of up to 75 gallons per hour (284 liters per hour) makes the Explorer XT an ideal fit for new yachts and refits.

This latest watermaker builds upon the same leading-edge technology as our popular Express XT Series, offering mariners pure water at the touch of a button. Plus, three different configurations including a compact frame and one-piece & two-piece modular controllers ensure that the installation can be customized to fit almost any available space.
